This was always intended to be an at-home month as I teach my local classes and work on promoting two, count’em, TWO balls which, in a fit of insanity, I scheduled only three weeks apart. Life is now complicated by the ongoing project of restoring my blog on a new platform and developing a website around it. The fact that this post exists is evidence of (slow) progress!

Nightclub Two-Step Class Series

6:30-8:00pm.  Four-class series for the Adult Education Enrichment Program continues.  Class signup closed in September.

Dances of Bridgerton Class Series (Facebook event)
for Hamden/North Haven Adult Education
5:45-7:45pm.  Two-class series for the Adult Education Enrichment Program.  Dearest Gentle Reader…you are cordially invited to learn dances from the fabulous Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte TV series. We’ll do couple dances to the music from the show and get ready for the Bridgerton Masquerade on October 25th!  Beginner friendly – no previous experience needed, no partner required. Flat, leather-soled shoes suggested; no spike heels please!  $32/person total for the two-class series.  Space is limited; only eight spots available as of 10/3.  Pre-register in advance here.


Sunday, October 19th ~ Middletown, Connecticut
Dances of Bridgerton: Before the Ball class (Facebook event)

2:00-4:00pm.  Preparation class for A Bridgerton Masquerade on October 25th! Learn dances from the Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte television series in preparation for the ball. No partner required, no experience needed. $15 per person in advance (pay online here) or $18 per person cash only at the door.


Saturday, October 25th ~ Hamden, CT
A Bridgerton Masquerade (Facebook event)
2:00-4:00 prep class, 8:00-11:00 ball. Come dance the night away at a formal masked ball in the style and spirit of the Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte television series with live music by a string trio and light refreshments.
