This is a list of upcoming events at which I will be teaching, calling, or DJing after the current month. Links and details are updated as they get closer, and I regularly add new events and classes. The current month's gigs can always be found at the top of the blog. Events and classes marked private are just that. They are included to head off inquiries about availability on those dates.
I am currently based in the USA (Connecticut) and expect to continue living here indefinitely. I am happy to travel for events, classes, and DJing. I am also still doing the occasional online class or lecture. Russia-based events and classes are unlikely for the foreseeable future. I expect regular trips to Europe, however, and am happy to try to coordinate to share the travel costs among different groups on those trips.
Time zones for online events are given for wherever the event is based. Please check carefully and adjust to match your own time zone.
Please email me directly if you are interested in hosting an event or workshop or in private videoconference lessons or lectures for yourself or a group.

The Flurry Festival
My first time back at the Flurry in about a decade! I'll be doing five sessions:
Fri 6:00-7:00pm "Renaissance Love Chase" This will be La Caccia d' Amore and possibly one or two other sixteenth-century Italian dances, with period steps. Live music by Spare Parts.
Sat 4:45-5:45pm "Dances of Bridgerton" Actual dances from Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte to recorded music from the show. This is fantasy Regency and Georgian, very much not historically accurate.
Sat 9:00-10:00pm "Disco Flashback: 1978!" Reviving a popular session I did at earlier Flurry Festivals. Disco line dances to recorded 1970s disco music, including the Line Hustle. Video of this session from 2011.
Sun 11:00am-12:00pm "1930s English Sequence Dances" Silly English dances from the 1930s generally mixing promenading, the occasional turn of waltz or other couple dance, and miming of various kinds (be a tree! be a Cockney! bump hips!). Live music by Spare Parts.
Sun 1:30-2:15pm "Cross-Step Waltz 101" Cross-step for beginners. No experience necessary. Live music by Spare Parts.
